Join our race against the Rapid 215 Bus by bike! The 215 is the highest ridership bus line in San Diego and it is so slow that a bike is faster. Let's show the city that our most important bus is too slow, and that can be sped up by finishing the dedicated bus lane, turning on the bus priority signals, and implementing all door boarding. We will also have members riding the 215 for anyone not comfortable riding a bike.

Our route will start at Santa Fe Depot and we will follow the with 215 route, with a minor detour to Meade Ave for cyclist safety, to its end at SDSU. We'll race against the bus scheduled to leave at 4:30. The race should take about 55 minutes by bike.
