Most of our organizing happens on Discord. As part of on-boarding for new members, you will receive a link to the discord, and you will be asked to verify your membership status upon joining.
National DSA provides a very handy tool for verifying your organizational membership at proof.dsausa.org. Be very careful to enter the correct email address that you used when you joined DSA, and are receiving dues receipts on. (If you haven’t done so already, you will need to set up a password at optin.dsausa.org first.)
Once you have confirmed your membership, you will have the option to email proof to yourself. You may also enter sandiegodsa@gmail.com to send the Leadership Council proof of your membership.
Have you moved or changed your name since you joined DSA? Click here to update your name, mailing address, and/or phone number.
Our local chapter does not have control of your membership or associated accounts. If you need to change something like your name or email address associated with your dues and your DSA membership, please send an email to membership@dsausa.org to have that change processed.
Will your membership expire soon, or has it already expired? Click here to renew your membership.
Solidarity and monthly dues are critical for DSA’s power—86% of all our money comes from member dues. Make the switch to Solidarity Income-Based Dues today!
