Series Learning Outcomes: The DSA San Diego Education committee will be hosting a 6 part education series as an Introduction to Socialism. The goal is to provide context to the current geopolitical climate, theoretical background to Socialist ideas, and how DSA’s brand of socialism is the future for progressive development. Visual aids and alternative materials (podcasts, youtube videos, etc) will supplement readings and lecture. The class will prioritize open questioning and free discussion related to the topics at hand.

Members: No existing qualifications are required for members, though the in-person element of most group discussions means that members should be able to get to the venue of each session every other week or so, on a Sunday evening for the 3 month-long duration of the education series.
